You can never be too prepared for Hajj, but you can definitely overpack. Learn, practice, and memorize the rituals now. There are three types of people at Hajj:
Those who are well-prepared thus have the time and capacity can handle unexpected changes. They are now able to help others and stay calm.
Those who are unprepared and just follow the group leader without understanding, like a zombie
Those who are unprepared, and get lost from their group/leader, and start panicing about what to do, worrying if their Hajj is accepted and if they need to make sacrifices.
It’s best to be like the first group, especially when traveling with your parents. The more you know about Hajj, the better you can support them and others.
Be patient with your parents.
Don’t let them carry heavy things.
Ask for their forgiveness in front of the Kaaba.
